Chelsea Shin, the creator of the award winning work Nostalgia Moon says “The collection Nostalgia Moon, designed by Chelsea Shin, was made to keep a promise with her grandmother, but that promise could not be kept. In 2021, she started to design the collection by recalling herself praying for the peace and well-being of her grandmother on the moon in the night sky. The most essential element of her design was adding circles and curves to the basic bodice patterns and using flexible boning to the edges of each garment to emphasize the softness of the round moon that she captured every night.
