A' International Design Award and Competition is pleased to announce that the project Trolley Coaster by Design Director: Chih-Kang Chu, Designer: Meng-Hung Tsai, Executive Designer: Shin Yu and Design Consultant: Yao-Chou Yu has been granted the famed Bronze A' Design Award in Performing Arts, Stage, Style and Scenery Design Category picked as the winner by the international judging committee of the A' Design Awards & Competitions within a great number of submitted designs.

Concerning Trolley Coaster

Chih-Kang Chu, the creative mind behind the winning work Trolley Coaster explains “The dynamic installation, Trolley Coaster, was a joint effort between the government and the public. The tracks were designed and produced by glove puppetry stage cart technicians. The Pingtung County Government and Taiwan Design Center collaborated with a private corporation to borrow trolleys for the installation, lowering costs and potential waste of resources.
