Lampo Leong, the designer of the award winning photography design Behind Glory says “This is a photographic documentary of Wugang, the Wuhan Iron and Steel Company. Supported by the Russian and built in 1958, the state-owned Wugang is one of the biggest steel factories in China and once signified the industrialization and modernization of the country. However, such industry causes severe environmental pollution.
