Payment by Checks
Only checks that have been approved, issued and certified by your bank can be used to make payments to A' Design Awards and Competitions. (Accepted types of cheques are: Cashier's Check / Bank Draft / Banker's Cheque / Bank Cheque / Official Cheque / Demand Draft / Teller's Cheque / Treasurer's Cheque).

Important Notice: All send cheques must be issued for the exact amount you are required to pay in Euro's or exchanged equivalent local currency, if your cheque is not issued for the exact amount, we will simply discard it by effectively destroying the check. Refunds and cancellations cannot be made for any reason.

Step 1: Go to your bank. (Your normal checks are not accepted.)

Step 2: Ask the bank clerk to issue a certified check in EURO or (the converted amount in your currency from EURO).

Step 3: Fill in our details as given below:

Step 4: If available, for the "Memo / For / Payment For" field, type your causal / the reason for writing the check as: "ADA-[#Indicate the design id that you want to pay the nomination fees of]". (Example: ADA-#22512). If you are making a different kind of payment, indicate your email address or userid ( you need to be logged-in to view your userid) as the cause of payment. This is very important, if you cannot add the "Memo / For / Payment For" field, than add a notice to your envelope which you will send your check to.

Step 5: Send your check to "A' DESIGN AWARD & COMPETITION SRL, VIA LEONE LEONI 32, 22100, COMO, (CO), ITALY" via Express Registered Mail with Return of Receipt or Confirmation. You could also buy insurence for your check. TIP: Before sending your check, you might want to scan or fotocopy it, so that you could send us via email for faster processing, also remember to note your check number.

Step 6: Go to nominate page and click the design you want to nominate.

Step 7: There is a link under this page, next to the nomination button it says: "By default, payments are made by "Credit Card". If you need to pay with other methods (such as Bank Transfer, Electronic Money, Paypal, etc) click here instead." click on this link (this is a dynamic link that changes with each design).

Step 7: A new page "Payment with other methods" will appear, choose Award Category and continue by pressing "CONTINUE PAYMENT" button.

Step 8. In this page, from the "Payment Method" menu choose Cheque.

Step 9. Enter the reference number as your check number (which you have noted in step 5) to AUTH/REFERENCE CODE field and press "CONTINUE PAYMENT" and we will manually confirm the payment.
