The body of wine bottles is white porcelain artifacts delicately made by a achitect Theodore Kwack, making 12 bottles in the traditional porcelain village located in Icheon city. It is the first try to make wine bottles into porcelain artifacts in South Korea in 2018. And the souls of the porcelain bottles are their labels made by 12 creative artists, who makers, visual artists, designers, architects, etc. This work is Mr. Kwack's special project by all means.
Theodore KWACK is a master architect, he was born in Korea, works in France and Canada as well as Korea, and lives in southern France. Mr. Kwack received his Ph.D., has planned residences in countries and environmental products from nature. Presently He is the founder of the Korea institute of food and beverage design(KIFBD).
The design project the "Body and Soul" was made by my studio, Tohaus, dealing with spaces, beverages and projects in terms of an alternate lifestyling design based on the ecological nature. This design project was for my client, Wine Korea that is the biggest winery in Korea - an agricultural association corporation.
