ORIGAMITABLE is a mechanically expandable table that is inspired by the ancient oriental technique of folding the paper called "Origami" The square plane extends mechanically increasing the useful dimensions through the deployment of four lateral wings folded below the plane . This deployment takes place through a 90-degree rotation of the table top with respect to its base of support.

MUA studio is an Italian architectural firm with two different ateliers in Apulia: Altamura and Taranto. Founded in 2013 by Architects Micaela Pignatelli and Ubaldo Occhinegro, MUA works in the fields of integrated architectural design, interior design, forniture and heritage restoration.
