This work is a poster for the announcement of the exhibition. The subject of the exhibition is posters what use Polish's characteristic realism technique. These also use techniques to convert of form for metaphorical expression. As a result, these created a characteristic image. This exhibition poster was created with respected to Polish poster artist, Wieslaw Walkuski. The motif painted here is a woman and a rose. The face of a woman has been converted to a rose. This poster expressed the image similar to the Polish poster by the effect of this convert of form.
Takashi Akiyama Poster Art Museum Nagaoka is an art museum that researches illustration and posters internationally founded in 2009. 1. Poster exhibition by Takashi Akiyama, 2. Poster exhibition of contributing to Nagaoka, 3. Special exhibition. The museum has these three types of exhibits. And the museum exhibits research results. In education, the museum is giving a lecture. The museum is contributing to Nagaoka through these activities. Nagaoka Institute of Design was founded in 1994 to learn design. Currently, this university is the only public university in Japan who specializes in designing. Surrounded by the nature of Nagaoka, there are museums and concert halls in the neighborhood. This university has four departments of product design, visual design, architecture / environment design, art / craft. The philosophy is to explore true human richness through art and design, and develop human resources with creativity that can contribute back to society.
