This exhibit was an evolution of the company's gallery style. However, the exhibits circulation was rotated 45 degrees to create one path in, around, and out of the exhibit. The client is known for their midcentury designed theme parks, therefore, a modern take on a the gable roof, which included a light box, was used to signal entrance to the space. Since the design studio credits themselves as minimalist, the space was cleaned up by placing functions, such as brochure holders and lighting inside the walls, while running most electrical need through the roof's hollow pipes.
BEAMS stands for Build Environment At Minimal and Sustainable. A multidisciplinary design house founded by in Hong Kong, BEAMS was started with intentions to bring sustainability to short term projects such as events, exhibitions, and installations. Their idea was to bring architectural practices into smaller scale projects with emphasis on minimalism. Since being founded in 2016, they have worked on interiors, landscapes, and exhibits across Asia and America.
GGE is a theme and attraction design group. They specialize in planning and creating branding for theme parks. Besides providing branding and personalized IP development, they also help urban plan and design parks. They have worked on large attractions around the world for clients such as Hershey's, Disney, Chimelong, and Studio City.
