The solid Tzalam wood structure is hand shaped and is mixed with high resilience foam and Italian leather at the upholstery, which transforms into an ideal chair for a relaxing time.

Ríos’ artistic spirit is inherited from a lineage of artists dating back to his great-great grandfather, the world-renowned painter José MarÍa Velasco. Born in México, Gerardo Ríos has the training of an industrial designer and the calling of an artist: Curious and inquisitive by nature, in his furniture he mixes a seemingly boundless array of stimuli that only truly materialize after an intense process of studies and refinement. As a multifaceted artist, he has a highly sophisticated vision in regards to what makes a piece of furniture special. His designs are made with pure, organic shapes, sometimes elemental but always evoking lavish experiences and associations.
