The exhibition portrayed the creative power of humour that moves people through time by capturing people’s heart as well as making money from laughter. The design team worked on every aspect of humour with an attempt to break all viewer’s expectation and play around with an unforeseen. Their goal was to create a formal business tone of voice and then gave it a twist. A series of communication material abducted the composition of a world-renowned business magazine cover incorporated with playful portrait, whereas the exhibition design drew inspiration from the big industrial factory.
Siam Attariya is one of the most respectable and distinguished graphic designers in Thailand. He has won and received numerous graphic design awards from both major domestic and international events. He is also one of the key person who help establish the Thai Graphic Designers Association (ThaiGa) in 2004 and still serve as an active honourable committee until now. Graduated from Chulalongkorn University, he is currently a partner and design director of Pink Blue Black & Orange Co. Ltd. and continues to produce great amount of quality works to this day. His outstanding projects include annual reports and print collaterals which always reflect his wit, creativity and Thai sense of humour. He is an influential figure in both the design communities and for the ethical practice of design. In 2015, Siam becomes a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI), the world's leading graphics designers and artists in a professional club established in 1951.
The Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC) was created by Cabinet resolution on September 2, 2003. TCDC was officially established on June 18, 2004, and placed under the supervision of the Office of Knowledge Management and Development (Public Organization), which is in turn part of the Office of the Prime Minister. TCDC receives an annual budget from the Bureau of the Budget. TCDC is a "playground for creativity". We engage our audiences with educational as well as entertaining activities to ensure that these experiences would stimulate people’s thirst to learn and think imaginatively.
