Yizheng Stationery is a market leader in children’s eraser in China. This experience center is situated in the factory, meant to be part of an entire sales journey. The aim is to bring the brand to life, making it relevant to both their partners and consumers eventually. Our approach is to work together with our collaborator, to deliver a visual spectacle;impress, intrigue and were given the task to illuminate the brand experience and to create bespoke light artworks using eraser as a material.

Yah Li Toh, CLD, IALD, IES is the Principal of Light Collab, She graduated from architectural school of National University of Singapore and pursued Masters in Architectural Lighting design in Hochschule Wismar, Germany. She is one of the first 5 to be recognized with the Certified Lighting Designer (CLD) Certification. She is a professional member of International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD).

Light Collab is specializing in the art of using light to enhance the visual environment and experience. An award-winning lighting design studio based in Singapore, with offices in Japan and Indonesia, we engage in a wide range of projects and are keenly committed to highlight the importance of using light to create qualitative perception. Light Collab worked on various notable international projects such as Audi Minato Mirai, Yokohama Japan which have won multiple international illumination awards such as Award of Merit by IES 2014 and Good Lighting Award by Illuminating Engineering Institute of Japan 2013; Tower of Light, a special glass tower which is a Freedom Monument symbolizing hope and freedom of the sacrifice of the selfish freedom fighters, commissioned by the Ministry of War Liberation, Government of Bangladesh and Public Works Department .The impressive illumination of the Tower of Light also received a Section Award presented by IESNA in section recognition of commendable achievement in lighting design, 2014. Other projects also include Bukit Timah Tua Pek Kong Temple in Singapore which has also received Award of Merit by IES 2015. Other than commercial projects, Light Collab was also involved as one of the lighting artists for “We The Light”, a Torch-Up sculpture for the SEA GAMES 2015, which was displayed at Marina Bay Sands, in June 2015 which involves the community to use their mobile phone torches, handheld battery operated torches to light up the globe and dictate the outcome of the sculpture. Other artworks include “Shadows of our City” and “The Legend of Red Hill” for “In Light of Shadows” for the Singapore Night Festival 2015.
