Diffusive Habitats (DH) is a resilient architectural system building upon the juncture of distributed robotics, reinforcement learning, and digital platforms to reimagine the way architecture is conceived and inhabited. As a challenge to traditional praxis, the project embraces spatial reconfiguration, constantly adapting to the social and environmental needs of its inhabiting community. And thus, via the interplay of in-depth algorithmic, robotic, and material research, DH puts forth a radical new architectural model: a living system capable of self-organization, assessment, and improvement.
