FAQ Entry #269

#269: I was not able to nominate my design with the nomination tickets, the status is shown as failed or pending-confirmation. Why is my nomination ticket not accepted?

There are 3 reasons why a nomination ticket does not work. 1. The most common reason is people forgot to choose “Nomination Ticket” option for the payment before entering the nomination ticket code. 2. The second most popular reason is that the code is entered incorrectly. Especially there are leading or trailing white spaces, or the code might be incorrect due to typing it unproperly, or some digits of the code might be missing, we remind that the nomination ticket code is case-sensetive, therefore the best way to use the ticket codes are to copy-paste them, you can find the ticket codes in the “Nomination Tickets” section in your control-panel, where also the status of the ticket is shown. 3. Especially when you have multiple tickets or if the ticket code was given to you by someone else, the ticket might have already been used to nominate another project, ensure that you get the right code and ensure it was not used by another project.
