FURTHER DETAILS: In 1995, Fernanda Marques founded her own firm, Fernanda Marques Arquitetos Associados, and embarked on the design of a large of variety of residential, commercial, corporative offices, real estate ventures and showcases. Amongst her residential concept, the three of the most significant projects are the houses at Polonia and Bucareste Street, and most recently the house at Laranjeiras. The functionality and pure lines are important references in her projects, which is constantly revisited by her contemporary look on things. In interior design, Fernanda has worked for the ex-minister Mailson da Nobrega and has signed one of the most modern residential structures in São Paulo, condominium Diogo at Vila Nova Conceição. In her commercial projects the luxurious L’Essence in Jardins, The Market Place Shopping Center gym, fashion designer Ocimar Versolatos´s office, former football player Pelé´s office, and the Brazilian headquarters of Ermenegildo Zegna and Omint. Leading a staff of over 70 professionals, Fernanda Marques is a tireless researcher. An avid frequenter of exhibitions and international design fairs, she has also been emphasizing in the last few years, on designing products such as furniture and objects, which much like her projects, present a minimal contemporary concept, always synching with the latest technological innovations and esthetics.
