About Toby Crispy : Toby Crispy, founder of FashionClinic by T, brings diverse experience from fashion editor to international brand designer. Former design manager at agnès b., she embraced upcycling in 2013. Specializing in redesigning fashion services, upcycled textile art, and curating events with partners like The Mills and Oi!, Toby aims to extend fashion's impact beyond trends. Launching Fashion Clinic in 2016 and adding "by T" in 2020, she emphasizes the Tales of Time in Textiles. As an independent curator, she seamlessly integrates personal meditation and social healing into her sustainable design practice. Her SLOW STiTCH NOMAD art projects uniquely reconnect the relationship between people and clothing, illustrating how design can embody the essence of sustainable living.
STATEMENT OF ART:
Everything has its stories behind it and its beauty should not be wasted. By collecting old fabrics and using "slow stitching" artistic creations, I breathe new life into them while weaving new meanings for the (new) owners.

I truly believe that upcycling is the best way to make the best use of resources. In this way, it cuts down over-consumption and waste of resources at its root.
