View Larger Image and Additional Photos of Nadire ErtugrulAbout Nadire Ertugrul : She graduated from Bahçeşehir University, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design in 2013 as the valedictorian of the university. Since 1993, she has been providing architectural, interior architecture, project applications, contracting and consultancy services within Tasarım Yapım Merkezi Architecture and Ltd. Şti, which she founded with her husband, M. Architect (I.T.U) Ayhan Ertuğrul, and the project group produces antiquities, mass housing and various social purpose building projects and also participates in international idea project competitions. They won many awards with the competitions it participated in. In addition, TYM Architecture founded Zade Design in 2018 in Istanbul, a design studio serving in the categories of coffee tables, lampshades and home accessories. Zade Design stands against mass production and mediocrity by taking inspiration from nature, which consists of living and non-living objects that exist spontaneously and constantly recreate and change themselves outside of human activity. Therefore, its products are always personalized.
I characterize design with the concept of 'benefit'. I aim to communicate with users and become a part of their memories by offering well-thought, simple, functional, robust, aesthetic, special and unique products.
