Interview with Cinch Culture Media at Saturday 30th of May 2020 FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer? CCM: At first, I wanted to be a painter, but my love for film gradually made me become a movie poster designer, and I hope that I can always pursue my favorite career. FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio? CCM: CINCH culture media is specializing in film poster design for film and television. So far, he has participated in more than 50 film and TV series projects, and nearly 100 design works have been released. FS: What is "design" for you? CCM: Emotion, humor, meaning, oneself,Perceptual experience, rational thinking, the source of happiness. FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most? CCM: Concept poster. It's hard, but it's fun and challenging work. FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company? CCM: A comedy. Draw a hand-painted poster for a famous actor. FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology? CCM: Computer graphics FS: When do you feel the most creative? CCM: At night, the quietest time. Listen to my favorite jazz music. FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing? CCM: Creative stage, whether it can directly point to the core meaning of the film. And attract the audience's attention and discussion. FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design? CCM: Excited, enthusiastic. The premise is that the customer just fits our idea. FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized? CCM: I think I can have a rest. But at the same time, I will be nervous and spend more time to figure out what is not good enough. FS: What makes a design successful? CCM: Do everything with your heart, abide by the rules, and have a huge amount of knowledge. FS: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first? CCM: Whether to dare to break through. Whether you have emotions.
