FS: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
C: We wanted to create a lighting system which can satisfy needs of the modern architectural design. High-quality materials, stylish design, easy installation, flexibility and scalability are what we relate to these needs. Auroom made of 100% brass embodied our idea of the first-class lighting system that is not only beautiful but also reliable and functional. Surface-mounted low-voltage tracks can be connected at any angle and cut at any place, and the wide selection of luminaries makes it possible to create different combinations playing with lighting scenarios. We also provided various dimming options allowing creation of desired atmosphere with possibility of remote control.
FS: Can you talk a little about your design process?
C: We always pay great attention to quality of materials and design which should be not only attractive but also perform lighting tasks properly. When creating Auroom system, we took as a basis of the concept compact and right proportions of all system elements ranging from track to each separate luminaire. We made the main accent on materials without hiding any single detail: all elements are made of 100% brass. In the course of creation of luminaries for the system we developed optics with particular precision since it directly influences quality of light. Lens clearly focuses light beam making luminous flux as soft, homogenous and pleasant for perception as possible. Moreover, concentrating optics makes it possible to increase brightness and width of the beam excluding glaring effect totally. One of our key goals is to provide simple and convenient operation. That is why our lighting system is easy to control for any user. You can operate both groups of luminaries and each separate one via your smartphone. System operation implies not only switching on/off but also brightness regulation (dimming). It is a flexible solution with easy remote control. We are proud to say that there is no analogs of Aurum at the market now.
