FS: What is "design" for you?
SP: Design, in my opinion, Is to put the ideas and things around in the system in a good form, both in Utility and beauty In this regard, the design has both the form that satisfies the function and imagination, whichever style we choose in the presentation. ๋ Jewelry design emphasizes the beauty presentation Imagination and usable form Be a supporter To make the design work beautiful and exciting That the job is strange, different Advanced thinking processes. And the job creation process

FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
SP: I like to design jewelry and produce works using computers. Focus on the integration of arts, crafts, and computers, which will be in the concept of digital craft

FS: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
SP: I like the beauty of Both Thai and international patterns I am obsessed with modern forms. At the same time, I study and teach academic subjects using computers for design. My design work is a combination of the beauty of patterns. And modern shapes created by computers I want to present to everyone that a computer pattern can create beautiful, valuable works of art, depending on the design process. The beauty of arts and crafts should not be limited to just hand-making. In the modern age

FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
SP: The 'Grajang' brand jewelry collection is the first collection. Years later, the modern shape development is Grajang Tracery and the Grajang LubLae collection is the latest collection.

FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
SP: I like the design of the jewelry with Silver. Which is the price material But the cost is not very high. It can put more images on the workpiece But at the same time, it still has the value of the jewelry. I like to create prototypes using a RhinoGold computer program and create a piece using a 3d printer before sending the workpiece into the jewelry production process.

FS: When do you feel the most creative?
SP: My design work will be well done. When there is a deadline Therefore, I like to join the design workshop in order to push for work. And get ideas from various perspectives To develop the form of work to be more interesting

FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
SP: In design, I will start with ideas, inspiration, start researching, and then start designing from freehand sketch to find the design clearly before using the computer to create a prototype. Mainly focusing on the design thinking process And will use every method to get the design work to be exactly as the concept set By using many computer programs to create prototypes and may consist of creating other prototypes into the work

FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
SP: The mood in design many times Started from uncertainty, confusion, but I often have guidelines for designing After that, I will start to research, design, try prototypes, select, edit, develop over and over again. Until I found a design that was interesting and new and brought that idea to further develop in the collection

FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?
SP: After all the designs in the collection have passed, I will definitely feel proud. I will feel fascinated with the design. Would like to continue to develop design styles At the same time, would like to spread the word to people about the beauty of jewelry designed

FS: What makes a design successful?
SP: I will feel that my jewelry design is successful. When the piece of jewelry produced and designed meets the concept It is unique and has the beauty of jewelry. There is a group of people who like jewelry styles And want to have possession

FS: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?
SP: If having to decide whether the job is good or bad I will select the good part first. I feel that design is personal. Preferences of many people If I think that my work has been through the design process And confident that I didn't copy anyone's work, I would still like the work that I did As for the judgment that is not good, I will choose to listen If there is a good reason and think that matches my idea I will adapt it to the design. Other parts that cause no confidence in the design I will let go.

FS: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
SP: From the point of view of jewelry designers Which is designed in terms of beauty, I will help society by respecting and not violating the intellectual property of others. And help the environment by not using environmentally damaging materials to design jewelry

FS: How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?
SP: I think the design field is worldwide. Designers can present Design work easier online. Which is a good opportunity for all designers to practice And develop themselves even more At the same time, it's easier for customers who need the product? And services from that designer. I think that the design will be global as well as designers will work globally

FS: When was your last exhibition and where was it? And when do you want to hold your next exhibition?
SP: My last exhibition On display at Bangkok Gems and Jewelry 65 and will be on display at the next Bangkok Gems and Jewelry.

FS: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
SP: In the brand 'Grajang', inspiration comes from Thai motifs, Thai art, and Thai culture art. Since it's my own culture I will study from real patterns from temples. And museums. Study culture from tourism. Take notes, take pictures, study from local arts and culture. Before designing Combine to create a new style of work That has a scent of Thai culture in a more international style

FS: How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?
SP: My design style is a combination of the concept of arts and crafts. With the creation of modern forms using computers in design, known as Digitalcraft I studied arts and crafts And always use computers for the design I have an idea that modern arts and crafts should not be limited to handmade The process can be modified And the concept of arts and crafts can be applied to the era But should maintain beauty and delicacy of the arts and crafts Therefore, my design style is an application of modern Thai arts and crafts. By using a computerized production process This still retains the delicacy of Thai arts and crafts.

FS: Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
SP: I live in Thailand. In designing the jewelry 'LUBLAE collection' emphasizes the development of Thai art and craft patterns to the international. I can study Thai art and craft patterns. From real locations Saw the decoration in the pattern Which will help to develop designs that are accurate and realistic and extend the design of the brand 'Grajang' Pros: This is an advantage if I work in an applied Thai style. But the place will not benefit If I work to design jewelry in general universal styles However, Thai designers Open mind for the design We have many design institutes, many programs, and many designers who graduated from abroad. In my opinion, Thai designers Able to work internationally well design And many designers can still blend A well-designed layout of the West and the East

FS: How do you work with companies?
SP: Previously, I worked as a jewelry designer until Jewelry design and development manager. Currently, I run my own jewelry school and jewelry design studio. I can work with the company as a consultant or design jewelry project as a collection.

FS: What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?
SP: In my opinion, a company should choose a job to suit the strengths of each designer. Should like the work style Give guidelines and opportunities for designers to fully do their own work The company should credit the design work to the designer. And have appropriate compensation for the designer I think this will only enable designers to work at their best. Are proud of their work and the company will receive the best design work as well

FS: Can you talk a little about your design process?
SP: My jewelry design process is very simple, starting with inspiration or customer requests. After that, brainstorm, research finds possible ideas. Looking for ideas, starting with an initial sketch, choosing to draw Technical drawing for production After that, go through the prototype production process with the program. Cad / Cam. And then send the prototype that goes into the jewelry production process

FS: Can you describe a day in your life?
