Interview with Jidapa Chansirisarthaporn at Thursday 21st of March 2019 ![]() FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer? JC: Yes, I always wanted to be a designer since when I was a child.' Drawing ' is the things that i think i can develop more and more to be the best. FS: What is "design" for you? JC: to create the values FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most? JC: illustrations FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company? JC: illustration for pattern design in fashion company FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology? JC: pencil FS: When do you feel the most creative? JC: after i got so much passion or impress from some things. FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design? JC: free FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized? JC: perspective of mine FS: What makes a design successful? JC: impression FS: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment? JC: to decorate and give a benefits for society and environment FS: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations? JC: most of my inspiration come from the moment or feeling of movies or music that i get after i watched or listened. FS: How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design? JC: I love to drawing so much. when I drawing i feels myself and what i'm thinking during my hand still drawing.then my design styles that's i present is mostly craft and traditional skills. FS: What are 5 of your favorite design items at home? JC: pencil, eraser, watercolors, copic marker, paper FS: Can you describe a day in your life? JC: simply but fantasy FS: What is your "golden rule" in design? JC: feelings FS: What skills are most important for a designer? JC: your own way FS: Which tools do you use during design? What is inside your toolbox? Such as software, application, hardware, books, sources of inspiration etc.? JC: pencils FS: What was your most important job experience? JC: to work with GALAXY MOBILE SAMSUNG JAPAN in 2017i got an opportunity to show my design at Shibuya Scramble Crossing / Tokyo FS: What type of design work do you enjoy the most and why? JC: drawing because i feels free to control my feelings. FS: Do you work as a team, or do you develop your designs yourself? JC: i love to develop my designs by myself. FS: Do you have any works-in-progress being designed that you would like to talk about? JC: to work with GALAXY MOBILE SAMSUNG JAPAN.I have to design all of my work in this project by mobiles to represent their product SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 8.this projects challenging me so much and so much fun.
