FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
SSM: i started photography in 2011 at the same time with studing architecture in Islamic Azad University. now im student of Set and Costume Design for cinema and theater in Tehran University of Arts.
FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
SSM: I work as an Art director & Photographer for modekey magazine but i have my own design studio and do freelance projects such as set and costume design , photography and film making . i really want to focus on conceptual fashion photography and directing fiction and fantasy movies adaptet from mythology and fantasy literature. i have started to work in digital marketing since 2016 and i'm CCO and CMO of our ecommerce team right now but im still a junior marketer.
FS: What is "design" for you?
SSM: as Duchamp said you can not define electricity.the same can be said of art.the hard question is how would a Designer be an artist?a designer uses arts to respond human needs but an artist can favourite the way of showing the aim of her art.artist designers always wonder of right way to choose their design approachs.how can a designer apply her philosophy into a product for consumers who their personal needs are against that philosophy??this can be the second hard question after defenition of art.
FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
SSM: Avantgarde Costumes and furnitures Expressionist Sets Conceptual Fashion Photography Directing Fantasy & Fiction movies
FS: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
SSM: Tim Walker in photography photography Tim Burton in Filmmaking and animation Alexander Mcqueen in Fashion
FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
SSM: a headwear covered by orange dry leaves instead of hijab scarf for my fashion photography shootong
FS: When do you feel the most creative?
SSM: when i break all my rules and frameworks
FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
SSM: The occurrence of a drum by my design
FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
SSM: i find myself distanced from limits of humanity
FS: Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
SSM: i live in Tehran , Iran of course,
FS: How do you work with companies?
SSM: i usually work by short time or Projects
FS: What is your "golden rule" in design?
SSM: Break The rules
FS: Which tools do you use during design? What is inside your toolbox? Such as software, application, hardware, books, sources of inspiration etc.?
SSM: Photoshop,Premiere,Lightroom,After Effects plays, Philosophy and Mythology books, The story of the legendaries , short stories from Sadegh Hedayat , Kafka , Edgar Allan Poe
FS: What is the most frequently asked question to you, as a designer?
SSM: why your artworks are so dark?
FS: What was your most important job experience?
SSM: directing my on short experimental fiml " Resident of the Limbo "

FS: What type of design work do you enjoy the most and why?
SSM: Surreal , ٍٍExperssionism and Dada designs they are breaking human limits
FS: What are your future plans? What is next for you?
SSM: i would like to focus on conceptual fashion photography and
FS: Do you work as a team, or do you develop your designs yourself?
SSM: i am by myself
FS: Do you have any works-in-progress being designed that you would like to talk about?
SSM: im working on a project rebuilding some of historical characters of persian literature it has huge Pre-Production and i have searched for a sponsor since 2016 but i was hopeless .
