FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
AMV: Currently I work in a different area. I'm Art Director in a advertisign agency.
FS: What is "design" for you?
AMV: The way to give the things a practical sense beyond the beauty.
FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
AMV: Analogue watches because I love the challenge that give us another way to tell us the time.
FS: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
AMV: Single-leg chair for milking because it uses the own user's two legs.
FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
AMV: Nothing yet.
FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
AMV: Those available for everyone.
FS: When do you feel the most creative?
AMV: When something doesn't work or when I think that it could be better. That is that inspire me.
FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
AMV: I design focused in the production proccess.
FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?
AMV: I think that when your product is in the market is the biggest opportunity to know if your design is a good design.
FS: What makes a design successful?
AMV: When the design is useful, available and perdurable.
FS: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?
AMV: Usefully.
FS: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
AMV: To create objects that responds the customers needs and contemplate the possibilities that your product or his materials have before these needs have been covered.
FS: How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?
AMV: I think that my design style is focused in create a new way to see/know the conventional objetcs. Maybe not innovative, but differently.
FS: What is the most frequently asked question to you, as a designer?
AMV: Is this usseful, its form, its materials... make it more usefull?
