INSPIRATION: According to research, tea competition began in the Tang Dynasty. Every spring after new tea was made, tea farmers and customers would hold an activity that compares the quality of new tea with its inferior quality. It is not only characterized by skill, winning and losing, but also full of fun and challenge.The victory or defeat of a tea match, just like the victory or defeat of a football match today.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A packaging designed for the 2018 "Zhuzi Cup" Wuyi Mountain Folk Tea Competition Gold Award Tea. The Chinese calligraphy in the work is based on the textual meaning and structure of the "Tea Competition", and it is domineeringly written, making it rich in rivers and lakes, like words and paintings, and rich in details. Combining elegant and heavy feelings to achieve its thick and chic strokes. In the design, the tension of calligraphy embodies "Yi Zhan Cheng Ming , Yan Ao Jiang Hu”.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Get the package and admire the calligraphy on the surface. After opening, it contains a small tea box and a certificate of collection.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in October 2018 in Fuzhou, China and finished in December 2018 in Fuzhou, China and officially launched in January 2019.
