| DESIGN NAME: CR Land Yulanshan PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Center INSPIRATION: "Simplicity is an essential condition of artistic works. In essence, it rejects any external decoration and carving," Bellinsky said. Light to the extreme is simple. Driven by this concept, the designer try his best to create a simple and elegant style for space modeling and material selection. The Northwest Plateau is continuous. This land has given the designer rich design inspiration. It is the most direct and implicit expression to integrate humanity and nature into art works. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The change of time and space is a part of artistic recreation. The design takes the current space and time as the basis of experience, presenting a unique sense of space. Through the interpretation of materials and the display of space, this case reflects the integration of cultural characteristics and the city, maps the future, and implicitly expresses Lanzhou's characteristics from the perspective of art. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Raw means unprocessed, natural. With precise cutting machine, rough cutting is completed on the marble surface, presenting the "raw". The designer carves on the surface, using stones to create a subtle game of light and shadow. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in October 2017 in Lanzhou and finished in April 2018 in Lanzhou. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In the reception lobby area, the ink charm of the lampshade carved by the whole stone echoes with the stone background of "Fox Volant Of The Snowy Mountain", which is the best annotation to Lanzhou's seemingly quiet but vigorous. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project covers a total of 3261 square meters. The interlaced light and shadow and the turning point of space, the high and low levels create the changeable space and give the open space a kind of purity. TAGS: Interior, Commercial, Sales Center, Modern, Elegant, Simple, Oriental Aesthetics, RAW, Light RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Under the erosion of nature, the Yellow River stone is full of vigorous spirit after vicissitudes. The designer creates a kind of blank space, and then fills the corresponding space with stone again. Time has changed in stone's memory and space, and takes the present space and time as the basis of creation. CHALLENGE: The stairs are not only structures that can go up and down in space. The designer breaks the sequence and deconstructs it again, forming a sculptural volume, making it become an art installation connecting the art gallery and the exhibition hall.
