| DESIGN NAME: Dynamic PRIMARY FUNCTION: Platformized Shelving System INSPIRATION: Children's furniture cannot satisfy its quickly changing needs. Therefore, to extend the scalability design method from children's furniture to object collection and storage products is an urgent issue demanding relevant research. For many families, the overriding problem is inconvenience; then there is repeated spending which leads to financial pressure and even a waste of resources. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The core of Dynamic "platform + accessories" So we can ensure the feasibility and good adaptability of changing requirements in daily life. With its unique design of three-dimensional vertical column, three mobile tracks are available on Dynamic, providing various possibilities for daily use. Multiple functions can be achieved only by purchasing corresponding accessories, making it handy for home and office storage. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The core of Dynamic "platform + accessories" So we can ensure the feasibility and good adaptability of changing requirements in daily life. With its unique design of three-dimensional vertical column, three mobile tracks are available on Dynamic, providing various possibilities for daily use. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: aluminium alloy extrusions Aluminum alloy is a very environmentally friendly recyclable metal with low manufacturing costs and low environmental impact SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Highly personalized custom sizes TAGS: Platform system, Growable Design, Sustainable design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The basic design strategy, namely "platform + accessories" is determined under the platform-based design method framework. The strategy can ensure the feasibility and good adaptability of platform-based design. Through product combination and extension with different configuration, enterprises utilizing platform-based design can achieve fast design for more products. CHALLENGE: By virtue of its unique design of three-dimensional vertical column, Dynamic has 3 tracks and 3 lock hole slots. With different styles and models of load-bearing joints, it can be connected and installed with cross bars to meet different functional requirements. The extrusion process of aluminum alloy profiles is adopted in the design of the stand column, which brings about a variety of installation methods, including floor installation, ceiling installation, and the upcoming wall-mounted installation. In addition to a variety of vertical installation methods, through the unique three-sided track column, more extensive horizontal expansion and two different vertical installation methods of mixed expansion can be realized, so as to achieve the perfect adaptation with different family and office space. The simple interchangeability of components makes it possible to reschedule or completely reconfigure according to changing requirements in daily life.
