| DESIGN NAME: Boundless Horizon PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Center INSPIRATION: After thousands of years of evolution, the Baisha River basin is characterized by continuous peaks and ravines, intersections of mountains and rivers, and the harmony of rivers and seas, which is forthright, primitive, and magnificent. Creation originates from the attempt of unprecedented forms and the imagination of new life concepts on the basis of nature. When space becomes the container of the spirit, it carries not only simple functions, but also the pursuit and presentation of spiritual m UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The overall conception of the project is based on the local geographical and cultural factors of Qingdao. With ocean, a very representative element extracted from a time-honored culture, as the design inspiration, and with water and sky as the theme, we condense the method of Oriental aesthetics and the philosophy and aesthetic consciousness of the universe and nature, and integrate the artistic conception of modern Oriental aesthetics into the soft decorative design through abstract art. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Stepping into the reception hall, you will see the simple and elegant art installations and sculptures created by French artist Fresnel. The Qingdao sea area has many harbors, tortuous coastlines, and vast beaches, so it can be called a city by the water. The passing stream of people is like a river of countless drops of water flowing into the sea. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in June 2019, locates in Qingdao City, China. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Creating a scene of urban landscape experience that the resident lives in prosperity and focuses on nature, and opening up Qingdao resident's pursuit of poetry and quality of slow life. Creation originates from the attempt of unprecedented forms and the imagination of new life concepts on the basis of nature. When space becomes the container of the spirit, it carries not only simple functions, but also the pursuit and presentation of spiritual meaning. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The property is 1200 square meters. TAGS: Interior, Sale Center, Space, Property, Business RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In the reception hall of the sales office, we make appropriate arrangements according to our space with a Fresnel lens to form a unique installation art. It implies the trend of “convergence”, and water generates wealth, implying popularity and wealth. At the same time, the viewer can also experience the fun of interaction. CHALLENGE: Louis Kahn once said, “Without the function of light, a building will lose its life.” On the sand table, the wave pours down to dance with the sunlight! The change of time endows space with different expressions. The relationship between the shadow and space is incisively and vividly expressed, which creates a dialog between people and the sea.
