| DESIGN NAME: Communication between man and wood PRIMARY FUNCTION: This is a detachable dining chair INSPIRATION: The original intention of the design of this dining chair is to make it simple to the extreme. At the same time, if it can be disassembled and flat packed, it will be very convenient for people to carry and transport. In order to solve this problem, we have adopted the Chinese traditional mortise and tenon structure and the modern home hardware structure. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This dining chair is made of beech or bamboo. Its structure is inspired by the traditional Chinese furniture structure. The original intention of the design is to make the dining chair can be repeatedly disassembled and installed through the structural innovation, like a big building block toy.At the same time, this dining chair can be fixed by 6 screws on the seat surface and the lower part of the armrest, and can be disassembled by hand, so there is no need to worry about its stability. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: First, the user opens the package of the dining chair, and the front and rear legs of the dining chair are combined through the cross mortise and mortise structure. Then, the armrest of the dining chair is installed, and the connection between the armrest and the legs of the dining chair is fixed with screws. Finally, the dining chair seat is installed. The process is very simple. A dining chair was born. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project has been going on from design to production for half a year. And participated in this year's Shanghai International Furniture Fair held in China. It is very liked by many customers from all over the world. At present, the design has been developed by a company in Hangzhou, China. It is expected to enter the mass production stage in the second half of the year. (4) The interaction between furniture and people is also getting more and more attention. For example, furniture can be a member of the family, participating in communication and using functions. CHALLENGE: At present, it has cooperated with IKEA China's largest foundry factory, using their advanced integrated bamboo technology, the cost can be controlled within 40 US dollars, the biggest process difficulty is the backrest of the chair.
