| DESIGN NAME: Twist Cube PRIMARY FUNCTION: Wireless Charger with Bluetooth Speaker INSPIRATION: There has a many of Bluetooth speaker, wireless charging and mobile stand in the market, can imagine if somebody picks up hose three details to outside or at the desk, it will use a great deal of space along the desk. Stand on it, the project start a great deal of research and study consumer point of view, end up to come out the idea which through the twist to provide a fresh resolution to merge the parts. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project want to offer a novel experience for all users in blue tooth speaker, wireless charging and phone stand.As a result, the project unite with the practical features with the new structure ,twist to be our major component functions for the cube. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: How to make a harmony size , comfortable material and the proportion in speaker net, size and material combination. How to use a easy way to present in these three functions in one cube which end-user do not need to read the manual PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Designed in Hong Kong , production in China factory and launch in global market since 2018 April FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Digital and Electronic Device Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The material to show up the styles and unique, touching in wood pattern, cotton speaker net and the metal ring around the cube . SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Size: 98x98x98mm to keep it portable size and easy to carry out TAGS: Twist cube, 3in1 bluetooth speaker, wireless charging, phone stand, bluetooth speaker RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We reach the main client to find out what they will require in future by phone call, email and questionnaires take in the general data if create a new device include the those features. And that, the project though market observation in retails to collect different types of Bluetooth speaker, wireless charging panel and mobile stand. Indeed, it may facing the challenge command. So that, a connection with supplier to ascertain out the possibility in technology in a portable size and device construction. CHALLENGE: the main concern which refuse between the Bluetooth speaker and wireless charging signal as too close once activate. And how to keep it in portable size but keep in good sound quality. Mr Fai Leung graduate from the VTC since 1996 , he works in product design and focus on gift and premium over 20 years . In 2014 , he received the master of business administer and in the master of arts in design management from the Birmingham City University in 2019 Mr Leung got several design awards, which included Red-dot design, IF, Japan good design award , China Red star design award , HKDA and HK smart design awards etc.. And that, Mr Leung has also participated and actively in the design profession. |
