| DESIGN NAME: Shimao City PRIMARY FUNCTION: Living Space INSPIRATION: The overall inspiration comes from the love and insight of contemporary art installations, hoping that the use of artistic elements is not just simple placement. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The owners of this case are young brother and his elder sister with high life quality. The whole design positioning is warm, high-class atmosphere with the sense of design embodiment. The design is progressing smoothly, and the mainly we spent time on collecting and extract elements of spatial cognition. In the process for the using extremely narrow lineal material technology is more exquisite. The emotional implantation of the theme is a big challenge. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The owner is a high quality of life requirements, like to travel and appreciate artistic things, so their living space is practical and beautiful. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project was designed from March to June, 2019. It is located in Shimao City, Zhen Yuan, Fuzhou, China. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In the modern style, the large area of stone, slate and wood veneer, hard decorations form a rigid and soft visual and tactile experience. Small areas of steel, metal and glass add to the enrichment of details. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The high-class atmosphere also contained a lot of small details inside, for instance that the 1 centimeter is embedded inside the door sets metal strip, inside the metope of 2 centimeters concave metal is kicked foot line to wait for the requirement of small dimension to construction craft is quite high. CHALLENGE: In the design process of this case, how to reasonably use the attributes of color and material to reflect their feelings of the corresponding space is undoubtedly the most difficult point of this case, and then is the delicate finishing process is also very challenging.
