| DESIGN NAME: Ashei PRIMARY FUNCTION: Entertaining Cart INSPIRATION: The inspiration for the style of Ashei is based on Scandinavian design sensibilities. Simple forms working together for a finished and resolved product. The project started off as observations made of some retailers that carried entertaining carts. Based on experience they were overpriced, poorly designed, and the offerings were not well rounded. I saw an opportunity to build a better product and a better value. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Ashei Entertaining Cart is designed for contemporary living and to enhance your lifestyle. Constructed of solid walnut, mirrored surfaces and brushed metal accents, the Ashei is a great addition to any environment. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The production has went through two revisions and two manufacturing companies. The initial design intent was geared towards CNC routing technology, with multiples of identical parts to keep manufacturing costs and complications to a minimum.
