| DESIGN NAME: Symphony Number 7 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Art Chair INSPIRATION: The interesting part of designing is to make a difference through one's life experience, environment, and observing the life from different angles. Designers can transform images into concrete objects and put their observation of the world into their works. This Art Chair, especially the streamlined design, will make you feel like immersing yourself in music. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Chairs play an important role in our life. A chair provides a place to rest and beautifies the environment. The appearance of a chair expresses the designer's thoughts, and it concretely shows the spirit of imagery and figuration. It is also a way to express the user’s type and it can integrate aesthetics into his or her life. Symphony Number 7 is inspired by the soft movement of music, transforming the melody into a kind of support for the body. It is combined with leather fabrics, so that users can enjoy it when they use it. It will be a wonderful experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The Symphony Number 7 lounge chair is suitable for both home and business use. The spacious seat and ergonomic backrest provide superior comfort. Organic lines and original design make Symphony Number 7 a beautiful piece of art for your home. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in February 2016 in Torino and finished in March 2018 in Taichung City, and was exhibited in Young Designers' Exhibition in April 2018. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Full electric CNC tube bending machines can bend fixed and variable radii within the same cycle and allow bending with no straight between them. A carriage booster allows bends with radii as tight as 1D and consequently eliminates clamping marks. The fully electric CNC pipe bender machines are all equipped with the newly updated user-friendly 3D SOFTWARE. Amongst other features it allows automatic spring-back compensation as well as in cycle correction, stores tooling configuration and positions storage, runs anti-collision and interpolates all 9 axis. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 630 mm x Depth 800 mm x Height 720 mm TAGS: Chair, Music ,Curve, Bending RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The chair back consists of four curves, and the radian of the curves are ergonomically designed conform to ergonomics. It provides the user with not only comfortable experience, but also a healthy sitting position. The seat cushion is made with a material with softness and toughness, it can provide a good coating effect because it matches the scale of a human body.
