RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In order to truly understand the Golden Ratio, extensive research was conducted in: ancient and contemporary architecture, works of art, human and nature proportions, design projects using the Golden Ratio, mathematicians of ancient and modern history, and finally, people’s visual perception about the concept of Golden Ratio. A field of study as broad as the Golden Ratio requires a very complete research, exploring its multiple facets.
CHALLENGE: The main challenge of the project was to visually synthesize the multiple meanings attributed to the Golden Ratio. The objective was achieved through extensive research and use of semiotics. Another challenge was to elaborate the visual identity using the Golden Ratio, in which it was also fully completed.
