DESIGN NAME: All Day Art
PRIMARY FUNCTION: All day art festival
INSPIRATION: This festival takes place outdoors 24 hours a day, when residents and visitors enjoy an artistic explosion to celebrate International Museum Day. Keeping your eyes open all day long takes its toll! You’ll have red eyes as a result of this art marathon, which are the inspiration for the main artwork in the exhibition.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This design of an identity, a signaling system and promotional elements for an intensive artistic festival that is concentrated in one day at different points of the town of Blanca, is a fun concept is proposed, which is born from the effect that occurs in the eyes after 24 hours of watching art. The elements, through color, size and shape, seek to generate a powerful impact that needs an ephemeral event.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The overall image of the event is an eye drop box, with the exhibition programme on it. After this initial image, throughout the event the visitor will be guided through the flyer map of the exhibition by temporary signs in the street. A tote bag to collect books left by doors on the day and badges to keep as a souvenir complete this group of coordinated communication items.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Along with the team from Blanca Town Hall, they studied the layout of all the events that would take place throughout the day to analyse their needs and find the most appropriate way to make the town understand the exhibition message. The many formats needed and versatility were the main issue when determining the most pertinent and appropriate solution.
CHALLENGE: The first goal was to achieve a signage system that would guide and promote the event, which covered several streets in the town of Blanca.
The signage must be temporary, since after 24 hours it will be removed from the streets and buildings and everything will go back to normal. To find an appropriate vocabulary that generates interest in the event and can be used in different ways, the next step would be to round off the proposal.
