| DESIGN NAME: Brocco PRIMARY FUNCTION: Chandelier INSPIRATION: The design of the chandelier is inspired by the broccoli, which is symbolized as destiny, luck and euphoria. It fulfills users emotions and award more value to their emotional impulses. Also it brings a sense of friendship, resilience and confidence to the atmosphere of the home. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Brocco is a modern luminaire designed with black anodized metal and LEDs. The placement angle of the light has been designed with regard to ergonomic standards in a way that it provides a better and wider diffusion and illumination. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This project is designed to encourage the sense of thinking, reasoning with full of emotions and positive energy and not simply disregarding the events and the world around. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main body is made of black anodized metal and lights are neutral LEDs. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: H: 700 mm, D1 (Pipe) : 12 mm, D2 (Whole): 600 mm TAGS: Lighting Design, Chandelier, Illumination, Broccoli, Broccolight, Luminaire, Black Anodized, Modern RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We have always tried to design something unique and meaningful. Obviously there are lots of ideas behind each design and this is not any different. We did not wanted to design something that attracts attention and make people think about it beside functionality. God has created the nature and me as a designer wanted to bring nature beauties into the chandelier. A research about plants that brings positive energy to the atmosphere in conducted conceptually during the structual and emotional design process of the object. Many sketches has been done to simplify the complicated forms beside protecting its modern style and make emotional connection between the broccolight and the users by design. CHALLENGE: The main challenge was to meet the modern market demand for lighting in various forms of protective symbols, transforming the natural shapes to the chandelier with the same emotion, joining performance and aesthetic beside emotional connection between brocco light and the users.
