DESIGN NAME: FIFA World Cup
PRIMARY FUNCTION: VM Display of Hublot
INSPIRATION: To celebrate and introduce Hublot as the official timekeeper of the world cup, we have worked very closely with the brand to create three giant and impressive stylised footballs that allowed the shoppers to keep pace with the FIFA World Cup in Russia games in real time from Harrods.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Shoppers in Harrods were welcomed by a juxtaposed installation above their head giant and multi-faceted LED blue, red and white footballs on which they will be able to follow the countdown until the FIFA World Cup Opening Game, and subsequently, follow the action from Russia, with live updates. Beyond these, Hublot's official watch is displayed upon the first-floor mezzanine in an interactive showcase offering visitors the possibility to try to score against the Hublot Robot Goalkeeper.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: It was paramount to ensure a great balance between the football campaign and the Luxury Harrods environment. Creating a link between the Champion advises campaign in six windows, the interactive Atrium football installation and engaging pop up space in Harrods and Watches of Switzerland retailer.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: It was a particularly multi faceted celebration that occurred on May 25 2018 in the world’s most famous department store, Harrods, London, United Kingdom. The installation stayed for a month and a half.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Harrods and Hublot are two brands with a shared commitment to challenging expectations to create the most exclusive experiences for our clients. Since the launch of Hublot at Harrods eight years ago, we have had the pleasure of collaborating on many creative campaigns and initiatives, from the Art of Fusion last October to the recent unveiling of our world of the Hublot boutique within the new Fine Watch Room. Our partnership continues to go from strength to strength, and now culminates in our welcoming Hublot’s Champions Advice campaign to the store.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was the restriction six meters high above shoppers. Each of the footballs had digital screens and lighting, which had to live for a month and half. Also, it was a challenge to bring a football scheme into such a glamorous and fashion environment, but the stylised and engaging installation worked really well and the Atrium became an impressive Hublot installation.
