OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: -
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: September–November 2018, Cracow and Suszec, Poland

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The entire publication has been divided into five parts for easy use when singing and reproducing with xero, hence the popular a4 format.
The navigation – the names of the chapters – is placed on the outside edges of pages and is very easy to use and recognize for the user. It refers to the style of typing full of errors (authentic writing of notes and song lyrics on a typewriter with spelling mistakes – xxx - means deletion) and also refers to the ethno patterns corresponding with folk songs. The three similar colors of printer ink – dark burgundy, dark blue and dark violet are inspired by colors of the pen ink used in manuscripts.
The publication also contains 40 pages in a different, smaller size (a5) with close-up photos of patterns of folk costumes from the region of Pszczyna. They are separately injected, reminiscent of an postcard from Pszczyna region, which can be cut off and sent (on the back of the card there are cutting lines, a place for a postage stamp and a description of the picture located on the front). It is a colorful element promoting this region in contrast to single-colored notebooks.
