DESIGN NAME: The Daily Greek
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Packaging
INSPIRATION: A creative concept that could convey the Greek origins of the brand, and merge the magic of traditions with the magic of design. Geometrical motifs and linear shapes inspired by the classical antiquity period, and the classic colors of the Greek flag (blue and white) were the starting points for the designers.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Paying homage to the Greek heritage,influenced by the well-known Greek color palette of white and blue shades, and enchanted by the power of the simplicity of all geometrical forms, the designers used harmonious lines and shapes to create eye-catching patterns that make a striking visual statement.These were the guiding stars that set the course towards a design that would be infused with the flavors of Greece.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: When you want to taste the flavor of Greece, you need exceptional packaging that makes a tasty difference. You need design infused with the colors and shapes of Greece, turning consumers into adventurous travelers in the land of Greek traditions and recipes.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in June 2017 in Thessaloniki, Greece, and finished in December 2018 in Athens, Greece.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In our design research, we tried to connect the classic colors of Greece (blue and white) with the traditional linear motifs and geometrical patterns associated with Ancient Greece.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was to create packages that can attract all consumers and at the same time convey the Greek origins of the brand in a modern and eye-catching way.
