| DESIGN NAME: Supporting Umbrella PRIMARY FUNCTION: Independent Support INSPIRATION: When I use a long handle umbrella,I always try to solve the problem of placement,but I have no idea.Until one day,I saw a princess with a crown,a perfect fit for my idea,and then designd this umbrella stand. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In many public places,we can easily find the umbrella stand.But in private housing,it is not common.The traditional umbrella stand is too clumsy,but this is flexible.Let the umbrella be placed gracefully. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Choose the right sleeve to cover the umbrella stand.Because the silicone sleeve has some extensibility.Slight deformation may occur so that the umbrella cover and the head of the umbrella can be fully contacted. The umbrella stand has four fulcrum points to ensure the stability of the structure. And there is a circular groove inside the umbrella stand to collect the rain. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in June 2018 in Wuhan and finished in November 2019 in Wuhan,China. |
