| DESIGN NAME: Lotus-SE PRIMARY FUNCTION: 4G Smart Speaker INSPIRATION: A real 'anywhere' speaker should be free from the limit of wireless network. Therefore, we have created such a smart speaker that can be used without WiFi. Inspired by cobblestones, its shape provides a warm and intimate feeling. The speaker's fabric front-shell is designed to be replaced at will to meet the personalized needs of modern people, customization is also provided, and it takes only one step to disassemble it. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Lotus-SE is the world’s first voice-controlled smart speaker that can be disconnected from WiFi and deliver HD calls via 4G technology, you can use it anywhere. It contains educational and entertainment content from multiple platforms. Powered by China mobile’s AndLink technology, it can be connected automatically to control hundreds of home devices. High yellow resistant TPU material improves its durability. The original fabric shell structure allows users to change the front shell, even DIY. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Lotus-SE can achieve network connection once the Sim card is plugged. It can be connected automatically to hundreds of home devices using China Mobile’s AndLink technology, and achieve smart control via voice. Wake up by voice "xiao he, xiao he", Lotus-Se is at your service. For example, if you say "xiao he xiao he, call Adam." Lotus-Se will make a HD 4G phone call to Adam immediately. You can achieve switch, volume adjustment, Bluetooth pairing, etc. through voice or physical buttons. If you like a show, you can say "Xiao he xiao he, collect the show." The program will be played without network next time.(You can expand the memory of the speaker with reserved TF card slot.) The light interaction is simple and clear: white - normal state, red - warning state, green - calling state. USB power output function: When you run out of power in the outdoor, Lotus-SE can be used as portable battery. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: We use high yellow resistant TPU material to improve the durability of the speaker. Back shell adopts an integrated two-color injection molding process, making the back shell simple, dustproof and waterproof. The mold parting line is just in the bottom information area, which is integrated into one. Characters are indented by mold, not only saves the cost but also improves production efficiency. Users can change the fabric front shell according to their own preferences.The fabric front shell replacement structure that we originally wanted to use is magnetic suction structure. But magnetic suction structure will affect the signal because of the in-put 4G module and the extremely compressed size. Also, the speaker itself is subject to cost control, Thus, we turn to a physical rubber plug structure. The label of the speaker is just a handle when changing the front shell. Laser cutting technology and automatic folding glue guarantee the neat edge of the fabric shell and production efficiency. 2. Search for the fabric: We spent half a month running around the fabric market in Guangzhou, China, in order to find a kind of fabric that does not affect acoustics, but is warm and consistent with the impression of home furnishing. At the same time it should have even surface. Unfortunately, we did not find a suitable mesh , so we eventually asked the weaving factory to design and customize the surface mesh. 3. High yellow resistant TPU material: Conventional TPU materials are easy to depreciate and turn yellow in daily life. So We develop the high yellow resistance TPU material to reduce yellowing time and improve the durability of the speaker. 4. The parting line of back shell: Back shell is designed as a whole, but there has to be a mold parting line. In order to ensure the appearance of the back shell, we skillfully design the parting line into a rectangle frame, which serves as the bottom information area. 5. The bottom information applies mould texturing technology, and the character side width is 0.1mm. 6. Back shell of the speaker applies integrated two-color injection molding process, surface hardness is adjusted to 75 degrees, which ensure the touch feeling and avoid the problem of demoulding and sticking in production. 7. Because of the size limitation of the speaker, we use linear four microphone array. 8.
