PRIMARY FUNCTION: Package
INSPIRATION: JRP has been commercialized with the aim of communicating Japanese ancient food culture to modern people.
I thought to appeal the characteristics of the production area deeply related to the Jomon Period and developed a brand logo and a package design with Jomon pottery as a motif.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: JRP is a product series of rice developed to deliver the power and healing hidden in rice which is an ancient Japanese food culture. There are two kinds of Hatsugagenmai and Kouji.The brand logo is a motif made by Jomon era. In order to express bold form and power seen in Jomon modeling, I wrote it with a brush containing plenty of ink.On the label of Hatsugagenmai, illustration of brown rice. Illustration of ear of rice is applied to the label of koji.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Consumers were interested in unique shape of the package and were able to contribute to sales.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project period is from March to October 2018. The place is Kamashi, Fukuoka prefecture.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: I chose an octagonal bottle and a spiral steel lid to make Joumon pottery image.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The type of research is poster design on the theme of environmental issues.
The purpose of research raises the issue of environmental deterioration widely to people.
Methodology, presentation on the website, exhibition in the international competition.
As a result, the poster's visual worked effectively, and in order to solve the problem of environmental deterioration, it became aware that each and every person had responsibility and appealed the importance of "thinking and improving oneself".
CHALLENGE: The high cost of the package is a task.
