| DESIGN NAME: Meditation PRIMARY FUNCTION: Study Furniture INSPIRATION: Obtain design inspiration from the jungle, combined with solid wood and brass, so users can have the experience of resting in nature. The design elements are from nature, users will reflect relations between nature and secularity. Also it can promote the formation of an open-minded mentality and adhere to their own hearts. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The whole furniture rigid form is consist of two elements——the mountain and forest. The birch strips are like a forest, the outlined with brass lines reflect the most essential peaceful situation and create a new Chinese mood of eternal, tranquility for the living space. Meditation is the mind "never pleased by external gains, never saddened by personal losses", face all things in the world calmly. It intends to express the furniture placed in the home can be like trees in the mountains in general nature, extraordinary customs. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The overall framework is completed all the use of solid wood production from the wood to the production, and then decorated with copper, strong and beautiful merger, revealing the natural and original beauty, long service life, fit ergonomics, which can provide people with a well-built place, suitable for office, study, reading and other activities. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Solid wood and marble parts using modern numerical control technology, through machine cutting and manual grinding molding, cross-cutting connection, crisscrossing. Brass bend are processed by hand heating, lamps are combined with parchment, and finally parts are stitched together to complete the production. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Solid wood uses numerical control technology to process molding, brass is molded by hand， two parts can be quickly removed, because of the need of transport demolition. We use high-quality hardware connection to create a beautiful line and solid structure of furniture. TAGS: Solid wood, brass, new Chinese, natural, forest RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The shape of the mountain is integrated into the design, the line is curved hard, the material is simple and plain, in order to meet the product function and not lose the beauty. Simple style reveals a world-shaking charm in subtle changes and inadvertently attracts attention. The structure is strong and stable, and the production is operable. CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge in design is how to combine solid wood and brass like standing in the forest sea, and meeting the basic principles of ergonomics.
