| DESIGN NAME: Vision Hi PRIMARY FUNCTION: IoT Wall Mounted Range Hood INSPIRATION: Vision Hi came with the idea that creating a hub for purest kitchen experience. We are using several household appliances in our kitchen, why we have to control them one by one? Why we have to pay attention to boring details such as air quality, cooker timer or heat level for a perfect muffins? Would not be nice if an assistant could play cook recipes videos for you? With Vision Hi, all of this are now possible. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 29 inch HD touch screen and enhanced multimedia features make Vision Hi a perfect hub for new generation kitchen experience. You can monitor your kitchen status thanks to instant feedbacks from nano sensors and HD camera. Controling hood, hob and oven functions will be a joy while listening your favorite songs are played by Vision Hi. Or, better you take a rest, use voice commands and watch Vision Hi’s guiding whole kitchen like a maestro. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Vision Hi’s all functions and multimedia features can be controlled by 29 inch HD touch screen, also these are avaible for voice command. As the heavy air and odors in the kitchen disperse, you want to control and improve the ambient air immediately. Nano sensors from the Vision Hi by Silverline detect the change in the ambient air without even leaving you the time to think about it, and switch on automatically to clean the air. After completing their duty, these sensors turn off aspiration automatically. This way you will not have to worry about unpleasant odors. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2018 in Istanbul and finished in August 2018 in Istanbul, and was exhibited in IFA Berlin in August 2018. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: With the Vision Hi that combines technology and design, Silverline offers a smart kitchen experience to turn kitchens into enjoyable living spaces. Vision Hi offers several smart features such as Alexa voice command system, active speed control, humidity sensor, temperature sensor, air quality sensor, HD camera, Silverline Cloud System, wi-fi control, Ios&android integration, Spotify, live broadcast through social media, compatible with nest hello and nest cam IQ- 29 ınch touch screen, 2 powerful sound systems- 150 w. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 800mm x Depth 350mm x Height 510mm TAGS: IOT, Smart Kitchen Experience, Voice Command, High Intelligence, Alexa, Precise Sensors, Energy Efficient, Smart Things RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Researchs started with a workshop which had participants from Silverline Design Team and random colleagues with various demographic background. Participants were led to be free to describe future kitchen experience and results were quite inspiring. After several steps with eliminating external factors such as non-legal features and technological limits, core ideas were appeared. Core ideas guided user scenario were examined over and over. This detailed research process uncovered a strong “needs” hierarchy which create base of purest user interaction. CHALLENGE: Defining user scenario is the hardest part of Vision Hi design process. Hundreds of functions and features could be added a hood, but what is actual users needs? Silverline Design Team focused to purest user scenario while developing Vision Hi user interaction. As a result, Vision Hi’s sleek design and UI present easy access to everything an user actually needs, even individual user profiles such as specific cusine.
