| DESIGN NAME: Captain Yasser Alqahtani Logo Reveal PRIMARY FUNCTION: Motion Graphics INSPIRATION: working for such a celebrity is already a great motivation. Also the logo design was done beautifully. It gives a sense of mystery and luxury at the same time. Those kinds of brands inspire me and I could think of endless techniques of Logo Reveal that maintain the brand feel. Yasser brand was no different. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A Logo Reveal for the famous Saudi football player Yasser Alqahtani. This personal brand represents two main aspects Yasser as a football player and Luxury products. Therefore to reveal this logo I needed to be in a neutral position between these two aspects. So I animated the revealing of the logo in an abstract way that represent the elements of it until the whole design was revealed. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The main use of this animation was for Captain Yasser to reveal his new brand to his many fans which on twitter only are more than 6M followers. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The Project started in Jan 2018 and was done by the 7th of Feb 2018 in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. It was published the same day across social media. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: For this motion design project I used illustrator for getting the design and the pattern in the right order then my main animating software was after effects. Final editing where I added the SFX and the final touches was in premier pro. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: - TAGS: motion, motiondesign, logo, logo animation, animation, movie, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: A creative research took place as soon as I received the project. My main objective was to find a way of revealing the brand without affecting the client in any negative way since he was a celebrated football player. Researching similar brands and how they function also the celebrities behind them helped me a lot on coming up with final animation that the client loved. CHALLENGE: First challenge I faced from the beginning was not receiving a clear brief which cost me a number of options until we got to a clear idea on the direction.
