| DESIGN NAME: Superyacht Amer Twin 94 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Pleasure Superyacht INSPIRATION: The superyacht named Superleggera built for winning a challenge for projecting a vessel able to make a tour of Italy at displacement speed without refuel. The Shipyard Amer Yachts Permare, in collaboration with Volvo Penta, has dared to install a revolutionary layout engine system with 2 IPS 1350 for the first time on a pleasure boat which permits a decrease of consumption, and noise emission with more comfort. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The superyacht Amer 94 twin was launched in August 2018. MY GREEN PAGES is a special software created expressly for the 94 Twin dedicated at The Tethys Research Institute for the Pelagos Sanctuary for Mediterranean Marine Mammals for support whales and dolphins watching and memo data transfer to the scientists as well as w.w.f. waste water facilities a new system for crew to manage waste waters with nice graphics, amer 94 is the first one to have installed a 3D printed flybridge consolle in the word. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This yacht offers the possibility to live on board in high confort and italian innovative design with a new special regards to the environment. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in December 2017 in Viareggio Italy and finished in August 2018, and was exhibited in Cannes and Genova Boat Show 2018. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: For the exterior decks we chose cork for its lightness and excellent insulation. It is totally waterproof, rot-proof, it has high mechanical resistance properties, it does not need yearly maintenance, it gives pleasant tactile sensations walking barefoot on it, it has thermal and acoustic insulation properties. Green are the external fabrics in recycled material. On the fly deck you find light furniture in eulithe material and a 3d printed cockpit in ABS and PET, as innovative elements never seen on board of a superyacht. Every single component has been selected for the light weight, special wooden floor, insulation high-tech aerospace panels, and micromineral moon effect upholstery has contributed in reducing the weight as vacuum moulding, lithium batteries and variable phases generators. Total weight saved equivalent at four elephants, 5 tons per elephants. The style is Italian contemporary with a recall at years 80, certficated teak in natural colour and white lacquered. A spacious saloon with large view at the sea. Four double cabins with the master midway so chic and timeless thanks to a compact engine room has gained more than 14 m3 in interiors. The Shipyard used Airlite, a special painting antibacterial and antismoke. The NOx2 pollutant is reduced by more than eithty percent in a laboratory environment and more than the fifty percent in a high pollution outdoor test environment. Winner for the best environemental initiative at Metstrade 2018 CHALLENGE: The yacht is called Superleggera built for winning a challenge for projecting a superyacht able to make a tour of Italy at displacement speed without refuel. NAME: Permare Srl - Amer Yachts PROFILE: Permare Shipyard is founded in the far 1973 to provide marine services to growing number of customers in the Italian and French Riviera. In the early 90s, the Shipyard, after being also retailer and manufacturer for other Italian shipyard, begins the construction of yachts under its own brand "Amer", that over the years will become a synonymous of quality. The Company is a family-owned business founded by Fernando Amerio. Today Barbara and Rodolfo, the offspring, work in the group and the third generation of the family has just begun to work in the team. In the last 40 years the Shipyard produced a craftsman’s manufacture considered niche products: More than 80 custom-made yachts have been delivered for the Italian market and for the International one. Thanks to the quality, the innovation and the after-sales service, the yard was able to deal with the recent crisis of the marine market. This has allowed to preserve the family-owned business approach with an increasing number of demanding International Customers. Every year, the Shipyard supports Education programs through collaborations with different Universities (Bocconi, Istituto Marangoni, IED - European Design Institute and IAAD - The Italian University of Design), to encourage research and development and promote the innovation within the nautical design sensitising the future designer to an harmonic union between design and environmental respect first of all. |
