INSPIRATION: The design is inspired by magic cube. the lamp consists of various cubes which freely rotate from different angles. And through irregular arrangement with charming effect, a dynamic and variable light surface is formed. In addition to practical functions, the remarkable visual image also make the design very unique,

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a indoor ceiling lamp design.
The shap of this lamp is a combination with a lot of cubes . Through to rotate diffrerent angle for the cubes ,It made a unique shap for this design lamp.
a warm LED light source is used on this lamp. The light sheet is a combination of multiple materials in which the surface is a thin clean-glass with a beveled refractive surface.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Because the whole lamp is relatively large,so the whole lamp is divied into three smaller modules,in each module set positioning points convenient for wokers to assemble
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: this project is starding at October 2018 in Hong Kong, and finished the design in January 2019. now, the project is yet to be realized.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: PC material was used in this lamp.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: It 's a habit that i always keep in mind to observe everyday life. A Rubik's Cube caught my attention. i connected it with the lamp, so i began to study an interesting lamp which was transformed from the Rubik's Cube.
CHALLENGE: due to this lamp is large, it is expensive to make such a large mould, which will increase the cost of the lamp, so how to reduce the cost is a challenge for this project. finally, three smaller modules are used to solve the problem.
In order to make the lamp look more delicate, we have more details on the lamp, using multiple materials, especially the surface of the lamp with a thin glass plate with refracting bevel.
