DESIGN NAME: GAEA
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Automatic dessert service
INSPIRATION: The labor cost is higher and higher, and the work of dessert station waiter is a simple and repetitive work. With the development of mechanical automation, we hope to design a dessert station that can replace human service.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Customers only need to select desserts on the touch screen in front of the bar, and the mechanical arm will automatically use the cup sorting machine to pick up the food and drinks and bring them to the customers. The whole process needs no manual work. The staff only need to supply the dessert station with materials.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The user orders the food by touching the screen, and the robot automatically controls the dessert picking and moving.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Feburery 2019 in China
