| DESIGN NAME: Manxin Hotel PRIMARY FUNCTION: Hotel INSPIRATION: The designer hopes to use "the scenery of the journey" as the design inspiration, to tell the story of an encounter on the Meter Track, as a tribute to the history of the Yunnan-Vietnam railway. The designer is committed to distinguishing the hotel from other hotels in the usual sense of the pursuit of design aesthetics, through a more abstract, optimistic way to tell a remarkable story. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is the first MANXIN series urban boutique Hotel opened by Mancy Hotel Group in Kunming. The project is located in the "Park 1903" community in Kunming National Tourism Resort. This community is the first integrated park living community in China. The whole community takes the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway as the main cultural line and the French style building in the colonial period as the main characteristics. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Materials: Marble，Metal，woo SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Site Area: 6000 square meters. TAGS: Hotel, History, Color, Tranquility RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The texture of the wall weaving from the entrance to the lobby of the hotel is a re-interpretation of the local ethnic utensils, and also reminds people of the unique bamboo weaving pattern in Asia. An array of lamps suspended above the reception desk resembles the bells of that era's trains, the feeling of connection in material of new and old, contemporary and past, dream and distinctive journey starts from here. CHALLENGE: The designer is committed to distinguishing the hotel from other hotels in the usual sense of the pursuit of design aesthetics, through a more abstract, optimistic way to tell a remarkable story. Bring people a more unique experience, trying to find their own DNA, through the collision of color and culture in the interpretation of the history and human emotions, at the same time in the overall style of the building as far as possible echo the facade.
