| DESIGN NAME: Heshanjun Residence Sales Center PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Center INSPIRATION: The project is located in Baotou in Inner Mongolia, China, where there are plenty of mountains. The property name Heshanjun in Chinese means river and mountain. So the mountain landscape is the inspiration of the design to highlight the regional features. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Based on the location and overall style of Heshanjun Residence, the sales center is a combination of modern art and traditional oriental aesthetics, being a different new Chinese style. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Considering that the project is located in the Northern China, where it is in the winter and creatures are going dormant, designers adopt red and green color to break the freezing outside world and to create an interior full of life. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project is designed in October 2018 and finished in December 2018 in Baotou, China. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Mountain and river are the design elements in the project design, matching the theme of the whole property. The paintings are mainly in traditional methods like scroll and carving, showing the classical Chinese aesthetics. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project is 900 square meters, which is a sales center of a residential property. TAGS: sales center, interior design, traditional, residence, painting RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The whole design is fashionable with a sense of Zen. The traditional cultural elements and the cutting edge design concept are well integrated here to build a fresh and proper environment. CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge is how to present the regional and cultural characteristics while catering to modernist's aesthetic in the design.
