RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Research were done on the influence of furniture on people's daily lives and the importance of a space for relaxation and materials used in the furniture. The armchair was thought to be a comfort piece at the end of the day, developed with materials that promote this comfort and with fine lines and fluid for the visual cuddle.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was to develop a piece that was truly comfortable and did not look "messy" like the vast majority of existing pieces, but sophisticated and clean. For that, I used fine lines, compact materials and neutral tones.
