PRIMARY FUNCTION: Pellet Stove
INSPIRATION: Lexta is designed as a product which creates a fireplace effect in a living room. This and the ability of heating other rooms via water system makes it a very versatile and able heating system. Robust structure, pressure discharge valves, tempered second layer of child protection and child lock ensures top level safetly.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Lexta Series Hydro pellet stoves are designed for those who want to see the actual fire in their living room. This is a water jacketed design provides heating with water rather than venting hot air. Lexta models are redesigned to reflect lifestyle of a modern user with preferences of a sleek and contemporary appearance and to be able to blend in the ambience with various color selections.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: An advanced central control system regulates the system constantly with the data provided by sensors and input through redesigned control panel. Lexta is designed as a true plug & play product thanks to its built in fuel storage tank, circulation pump, expansion tank and plumbing elements. All user will have to do is to connect it to an existing system and it will be ready to operate out of the box.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started on April 2018 and finished on January 2019 in Ankara, Turkey.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Lexta series hydro pellet stoves will be manufactured using advanced Laser / CNC machining and finishing processes.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Consumer and technical service needs were taken into consideration by comparing with other stoves on the market. In order to be able to be used in the living area, it has been investigated how production technologies can adapt to the aesthetic approach. In addition, researches have shown that wood pellet fuels are a much cheaper, renewable resource than fossil fuels. Pellet heating systems are ozone friendly and are below acceptable C2O emission thresholds according to the Kyoto Protocol.
CHALLENGE: A modular burner with easy cleaning mechanism is a feature not available in similar products. Product will have a double glass layer in the front, outer glass will be of tempered glass to protect it from the impact forces, inner glass will be of world known ROBAX brand thermal resistant glass which can withstand above 500 C.
